Happened upon an abandoned beach in the morning apperantly it's not beach season yet...

then headed into town

road trip day 1

Evan came to visit Barcelona for 2 weeks and we took a road trip along the southern coast of France, so beautiful! We drove for a while the first day and stayed in a small town near St. Tropez called St. Maxime, cutest town ever! We explored little nearby towns each day. It was so calm at the beaches and the towns felt like something out of a movie.

hmm where to start... I have so many photos to show!

I guess first I'll show some photos of my jar project because I never did get around to posting about it, so here goes!

We all made 30 objects that would cost us 1 euro, so on the last day of class we all exchanged products! It was the best final ever. Here are some of my classmates products:

Some close ups of my Jarra project, I made 6 different kinds of inserts for the jars so that you could pick what you liked the most. Each one had a word on the front describing the function

The backs all had a brief description of their function:

one for your pens, pencils, or scissors (lapiz):

one to hang your keys on and not forget them (recuerda), one to organize your jewelry (guarda), and one to display your photos (foto):

Just got back to Barcelona from a beautiful trip to France with Evan, I will post lots of pictures soon.

I havn't posted any music on here before but Angus and Julia Stone have been a favorite band for a while and they just released a new album, "Down the Way" it's beautiful

Between waiting hours and hours for a computer rendering to finish, waiting for the wax in the mold to dry, waiting an extra 3 minutes for the next metro or waiting for a very delayed flight to get here, patience is the only way to deal. I think it's harder for our generation too because we are so used to having everything be instant. But getting frustrated angry or upset won't help the situation one bit, so be patient, the time will come.

I am going to try to post one thing I learn each day. I realized that I have learned a lot of things but it's hard to keep track so I am going to try to post something each day, we'll see how it goes!
