winter break!

Just finished the semester, feels good to be done. Just can't believe next semester is my last last semester of college! How did it go by so fast?? I still remember being 4 and all I wanted was to go on a pony ride.
In other news I'm a finalist for the design*sponge scholarship!! Vote for me here:

It's a good way to start the break : )
I'm also looking forward to getting some sleep as well as sewing, crafting and even baking some cookies!
I love having free time.

Exchange show

I was in an exchange student show to show off the work we all did while abroad or for the exchange students at CCA now. I put up a lot of objects I found while abroad up as well as one of the projects I did while at school there. Click here to check out the project I showed! It was nice to see a wall summing up the time and memories I have from being in Barcelona and Europe.

Pumpkin patch!! Picked out some pumpkins and had a pumpkin carving party, now they aren't looking so cute but they did that night!

At the Oakland Museum of Art, old perfume bottles remind me of a perfume museum I visited with Adina in Barcelonaaaa good times. Pretty colors and lots of random pieces of art around the museum kept me entertained.

Cool coffee space, a little kiosk right now but soon to be a larger coffee shop, I love the logo! Some photos from around the city and the farmers market! We got a lot of rain the weekend, it was refreshing.

back in action

Persimmons are back! I forgot how much I loved them. I can't believe it was only a couple years ago that I had a persimmon for the first time. They almost taste like crunchy pumpkin pie. They have almost helped me forget that peaches and nectarines are slowly disappearing from the markets. I still can't believe it's almost halloween! I barely started getting used to the fact that it was October!
